G8 energy ministers meet in Moscow on March 16

MOSCOW, February 16 – G8 energy ministers are to meet in Moscow on March 16, reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Energy.

“The ministers will discuss the questions of energy efficiency and energy security,” said a spokesman for the press service.

The press service also reported that on the eve of this meeting, an international conference devoted to the same issues would take place in Moscow with the participation of G8 public organizations.

In February, Moscow played host to the meeting of G8 finance ministers.
