Consultation conference of international trade union and G8 national trade union center leaders place Moscow

The leaders of international trade unions and G8 national trade union centers on the Global Unions are meeting in Moscow for a consultation conference, July 5-6, 2006.

The participants will focus on determining trade union positions on issues within the agenda of Russia's G8 Presidency. They also intend to discuss compliance with essential employee and trade union rights, migration and international workforce mobility, transnational commerce and investment, etc.
