The International Media Center is located in the Palace of Congresses Complex right next to the Summit venue.
Admission to the International Media Center is granted only to journalists who have received their accreditation badges.
There will be round-the-clock transportation to and from the Pribaltiyskaya and Moskva hotels from July 13 through July 17. You can only use the shuttle service if you have an accreditation badge. Shuttle service is free of charge.
If you are staying at the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel, you will have to take the "Pribaltiyskaya Hotel - Sea Terminal" shuttle bus. The exact location of bus stops will be well-marked by Organizing Committee officers, hotel personnel and signs. Travel time is approximately 10 minutes.
On arriving at the Sea Terminal, you will have to undergo a security check.
On completing the security check, you will be invited to board the Meteor speedboat that will bring you right to the International Media Center. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
Total travel time from the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel to the IMC is approximately 1 hour - 1 hour 30 minutes.
If you are staying at the Moskva Hotel, you will have to walk to the Neva embankment and take an express Meteor speedboat with the route "Moskva Hotel - Sea Terminal." The exact location of the Meteor stop will be indicated by Organizing Committee officers, hotel personnel and signs. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes.
On arriving at the Sea Terminal, you will have to undergo a security check.
On completing the security check, you will be invited to board the Meteor, which will bring you directly to the International Media Center. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
Travel time from the Moskva Hotel to the IMC is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes - 2 hours.
In the event that boat service is suspended (at night or due to unfavorable weather conditions), buses will run between the Moskva Hotel and the Sea Terminal, and also between the Sea Terminal and the International Media Center.
If you have chosen to stay at a different hotel, you will have to reach the Sea Terminal on your own.
The Shuttle schedule is published in the Media handbook, available in the media kits, in the Pribaltiyskaya and Moskva hotels and in the International Media Center. Full version of the Media handbook is also posted on this web-site.
Shuttle buses and Meteor speedboats are designed exclusively for carrying passengers and portable journalism equipment (cameras, tripods, etc.). Carrying aboard oversize articles or luggage is not allowed.
The Summit Media Division has motor vehicles specially designed for people with physical disabilities. If you need to use such vehicles, please email your request in advance to the Media Department Transport Group at koritskiy@g8russia.ru or samushkova@g8russia.ru indicating the time and place of vehicle delivery, its route and your contact information.
If you leave your personal effects or equipment aboard a Meteor speedboat or a bus, you should inquire at the Information Desk in the IMC or at the Pribaltiyskaya and Moskva hotels.
To access the International Media Center you will have to pass through a security check.
The security checkpoint is at the Sea Terminal, which can be reached by shuttle from the Pribaltiyskaya and Moskva hotels (see also "Getting to the International Media Center"). The security check procedure includes a personal inspection and an inspection of personal effects and equipment.
Checkpoint №4, located at the entrance to the International Media Center on the road coming from Peterhoff, is designed to inspect cargo and technical personnel arriving at the IMC. Arrival of accredited journalists in unaccredited motor vehicles at Checkpoint №4 is not allowed.
