Foreign nationals need visas to enter Russia1.

The Russian G8 Presidency Organizing Committee provides visas for the foreign press upon the submission of accreditation confirmation for the G8 Summit scheduled for July 15-17 in St. Petersburg.

Please remember that in order to receive a visa, you need to submit valid identification, a photo and a completed visa questionnaire to any Russian consulate. For some nations, there is an additional requirement that their citizens have health insurance covering the time of their stay in Russia 2.

Upon receiving your visa, please make sure all the information on it is correct.
